Kayla Strong has pursued academic interests in geography and risk science at the University of Waterloo and Durham University. She is in the final stages of completing a Ph.D. in Veterinary Medicine at the University of Calgary, with a specific focus on antimicrobial resistance modeling in beef production systems. Her dissertation defense is scheduled for next month.
In the past, Kayla worked for the Centre for Risk Studies at Cambridge University, gaining experience in Risk Modeling.
