We operate as a bi-campus interdisciplinary research platform at York University and the University of Ottawa.

York University Campus

The Global Strategy Lab in Toronto is housed within the Dahdaleh Building, adjacent to the new Dahdaleh Institute for Global Health Research, and draws upon the full strengths and resources of the Faculty of Health and Osgoode Hall Law School where Director Steven J. Hoffman is appointed. Proud to be “Canada’s progressive university,” York University faculty, staff and students aspire to shape the global perspective and embrace innovation in teaching, learning, and research.

Located in the multicultural hub of Canada, the Lab’s Toronto office is only a short commute away from many cultural institutions, as well as the tallest free-standing building in the Western Hemisphere — the CN Tower.

The Global Strategy Lab in Ottawa is hosted at the University of Ottawa by the Graduate School of Public & International Affairs (GSPIA) in the Faculty of Social Sciences, where Associate Director Patrick Fafard is appointed. GSPIA aims to be Canada’s leading school of public and international affairs that brings together excellence, multidisciplinary studies, theory and practice, and bilingualism as well as unique opportunities for researchers and students outside the classroom.

Located in the National Capital of Canada, the Lab’s Ottawa office is within walking distance of Parliament, the Supreme Court of Canada, and most departments and agencies of the federal government.
