On March 9, GSL Director, Steven J. Hoffman delivered the keynote address at the Seventh Annual Women’s Health Research Symposium at the University of British Colombia in Vancouver. Titled, Global Health 3.0: Shared risks, shared responsibility for all, Professor Hoffman presented the concept of Global Health 3.0 and the dimensions of Global Health Research (Globalization, Neglected Conditions Health Equity and Transnational Risks). Dr. Hoffman also spoke to the impact, alignment and capacity components of the Canadian Institutes of Health Research Framework for Action on Health Research.
