On March 3, 2022, GSL Associate Director Patrick Fafard participated in the OECD Global Science Forum workshop, “Scientific advice in crises: Lessons learned from COVID-19.”
In the panel titled, “Evolving advisory processes, roles and responsibilities of scientific advisors”, Fafard shared insights based on his research on the role of Chief Medical Officers during the COVID-19 pandemic in Canada, Australia, Ireland, New Zealand and the United Kingdom.
