Experts Call for Urgent Action on Antimicrobial Resistance at Multi-stakeholder Hearing

On May 16, 2024, Julia Bishop, Director of Strategy and Partnerships at the AMR Policy Accelerator, and Mathieu Poirier, Co-Director of the Global Strategy Lab, were among the attendees at the Multi-stakeholder Hearing on Antimicrobial Resistance. They called on UN Member States to establish ambitious and measurable targets on AMR at the UNGA High-Level Meeting happening in September 2024, as well as to establish an Independent Panel on Evidence for AMR. The time for bold action on AMR is now.
