Title card for CBC’s the Current

On March 12, GSL Director Steven Hoffman appeared on CBC’s The Current to discuss the possibility of stricter measures to combat COVID-19 in Canada, such as school closures and harsher travel advisories.

In the interview, Hoffman explained that strict measures could carry unforeseen consequences. For example: if schools close, it is possible that certain medical personnel can’t go to work. He further said that personal travel such as for the upcoming March break is a risk assessment every individual and family has to make for themselves.
