On April 15, GSL Associate Director Patrick Fafard appeared on L’Heure de Pointe on Radio Canada to discuss the results of the Canadian COVID-19 Social Impact Survey.

In the interview, Fafard explained that most Canadians want scientific evidence to be the main driver of COVID-19 decision-making, while only about half of them believe that the relevant stakeholders mainly rely on evidence when drafting COVID-19 countermeasures. For the moment it seems, Canadians are content neglecting the macro-economic consequences of this pandemic, if it means keeping them healthy.
