Demetria heads communications strategy and planning at the Global Strategy Lab and is a member of the AMR Policy Accelerator leadership team. Demetria’s role includes working with the team to develop comprehensive dissemination plans, exploring strategies to make GSL’s research more accessible to key audiences and encouraging a culture of strategic communication.
Demetria brings over 20 years of marketing and communications experience across the private, public and non-profit sectors. Her areas of interest include strategic communications, participatory product development and knowledge mobilization. Prior to joining the team Demetria headed the communications department of a policy-research network focused on gender and employment.
Demetria divides her time between Ottawa, Ontario and Merigomish, Nova Scotia and enjoys biking and hiking with her family.
