On June 24, GSL Director Steven Hoffman appeared on CTV News to discuss Toronto and Peel region entering the 2nd stage of COVID-19 reopening, which includes patio dining, barbershops, and indoor malls.
In the interview, Hoffman discussed the likelihood of a second wave of COVID-19 in Ontario, explaining that “nothing is pre-ordained.” The best way to prevent a big-scale return and community transmission is to follow the preventative guidelines, such as social distancing and wearing masks where social distancing can’t be followed.
