Federal Government Revises Remote Work Policy

On May 25, the Ottawa Citizen reported that the federal government revised its remote work policy earlier in the month. The new guidelines mandate that public servants work from the office three days a week by mid-September, with executives required to be on-site at least four days per week.

This decision has sparked frustration among employees and unions, leading to the filing of unfair labor practice complaints and policy grievances.
