The Global Strategy Lab Begins
In July of 2014, the Global Strategy Lab was born from a fundamental belief: the need to bring a science to bear on how countries, non-governmental organizations and researchers can all work together to solve health threats that defy national boundaries.
Founded by Dr. Steven J. Hoffman within the halls of McMaster University, the Lab borrowed space from the McMaster Health Forum to host our research assistants.
Though our journey began with borrowed space and a handful of dedicated researchers, today the Global Strategy Lab stands as a testament to the power of vision, determination, and strategic partnerships to creating better policies and institutions to make the world a healthier place for everyone.
