On January 21st , researchers involved in the SAFE AMR Governance Partnership met at the Wellcome Trust’s offices in London, England to present their progress on the project thus far and to plan jointly for the next phase of the initiative.
The SAFE AMR Governance Partnership is a partnership of world leading social science research centres working together to develop global governance strategies to tackle antimicrobial resistance. The partnership is funded through a Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council (SSHRC) Partnership Grant and aims to better understand and address the root social processes, structures, and power dynamics that drive AMR, beyond what could be accomplished by any one country, centre, or discipline alone.
