Cindy is a fourth year student at the University of Waterloo majoring in Public Health with a minor in Psychology. Her academic interests reflect her passion to understand how the healthcare system and policies intersect to shape the health and well-being of people.
In her previous co-op positions, Cindy has gained diverse experiences in long-term care research, Indigenous-focused research, and supporting the development of educational initiatives at her university. These experiences have strengthened her interest in promoting equitable healthcare and using evidence based research to better understand the factors that influence public health. Cindy is excited to join the AMR Accelerator and further develop her knowledge as a Health Policy Research Intern.
