GSL Study featured in York University’s Impact Report 2021-22: Special Issue on Research & Teaching

GSL’s study on international treaties has been featured in York University Faculty of Health’s This Impact Report highlights innovations and achievements in research and teaching making an impact locally and globally.
The issue features GSL Director Steven Hoffman’s and Co-Director Mathieu JP Poirier’s research on PNAS showing that international treaties have mostly failed to produce their intended effects. Enforcement mechanisms appear to be the only treaty design choice that holds promise of maximizing the chances of achieving intended effects.
