On May 22, GSL Director Steven Hoffman was interviewed on Global News in connection with Calgary’s decision to allow hair salons and barbershops to reopen and for restaurants to start dine-in service.
In the interview, Hoffman explained that while it is positive that these layers of restriction are getting lifted, that people have to be aware that they can be re-instituted at any time should the situation take a turn for the worse. The priority must remain to prevent a second or even third wave as much as possible.
