From November 19-20, GSL team members Gabriel Fezza and Daniela Corno attended bioMérieux Canada’s 2024 AMR Symposium, at the Sheraton Center, in Toronto, a two-day national event dedicated to mitigating antimicrobial resistance (AMR). This symposium was an amazing opportunity to meet other AMR researchers and learn about their work across the One Health (human, animal and environmental) sectors.
The event highlighted how AMR impacts diagnostics, therapeutics and infection management in both human and animals and how global policies and strategies might be tailored to address some of these issues in specific settings and contexts.
