Laura Rosa

Research Assistant

Laura is a fourth-year Global Health student pursuing a specialization in Global Health Policy, Management, and Systems. Her journey into global health began with a personal passion ignited by her experiences as an immigrant. These experiences shaped her interest in understanding how international law influences health outcomes, particularly in addressing major global health threats such as the tobacco epidemic. Laura is excited to explore these critical issues through an epidemiological lens and she looks forward to contributing to the great work of the GSL’s Global Legal Epidemiology team. Outside academia, she is actively engaged in different student initiatives at York University and she enjoys spending time outdoors.
